F A Q s

DO YOU ACCEPT WALK-INS?

We are an appointment only boutique. This method allows an opportunity to curate a shopping experience to you particular taste, while getting to know you on a deeper level.

WHAT IS THE START-TO-FINISH PROCESS OF PURCHASING A DRESS FROM JLB?

If a made-to-order gown is purchased I will take your measurements, send you an online invoice, and order the closest dress size to be made once the invoice is paid. Once the gown arrives, you'll come back in for a follow up appointment to pick up your gown and do final inspections. Should your gown require further alterations we are able to recommend a seamstress to do any final tweaks ie: hem the gown and make sure the gown is fit to perfection. Between Jasmine Lilly Bride and your chosen seamstress, expect to attend at least 5 fittings from start to finish.

WHAT IF THERE IS A GOWN THAT I LIKE FROM A DESIGNER THAT YOU CARRY, BUT YOU DON'T CARRY THAT PARTICULAR SAMPLE?

While we can't carry entire collections from each of our designers, we can sometimes have the ability to request particular samples, and are always able to purchase any item from our designers on her your behalf. Please email us if you'd like to inquire about requesting a specific gown that is not in our current collection at: jasminelillybridal@gmail.com

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Because our shop is quite intimate we ask that you keep your entourage at or under 4 people.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY MADE-TO-ORDER GOWN TO ARRIVE?

Depending on the designer there is typically a 4-6 month lead time for all made-to-order gowns.

IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

Yes, we kindly ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule your fitting.

RETURNS + EXCHANGES

All items are final sale. Returns and exchanges are not accepted.

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We invoice online and accept cash, checks and all major credit cards are accepted.

HOW LONG WILL MY APPOINTMENT BE?

Your initial private fittings is scheduled for 90 minutes. 45 minute follow up appointments are available for those who have already been to the shop.

DO YOU OFFER/INCLUDE ALTERATIONS?

Alternations are a separate cost from the purchase of your gown. We are able to recommend a handful of local seamstresses in the Bozeman and surrounding area. Please see a comprehensive list below.

ARE YOU LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY

100%. We welcome any individual who identifies as a bride, regardless of sexual orientation, race, or background. We also make an effort to support POC and organizations fighting for equality with our voice, platform and money.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BEGIN DRESS SHOPPING?

We recommend that you begin dress shopping 9-12 months in advance of your wedding date, purchasing 8-10 months in advance of your wedding date. This is the ideal, not the absolute.

WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE OF YOUR GOWNS?

Our made-to-order gowns range from $1,500 - $5,000 with the majority of our gowns in the $2,500-$2,800 range. We also have skirts, tops and jackets starting at $500.

WHAT SIZE GOWNS ARE AVAILABLE TO TRY ON AT JLB?

The bulk of our dress samples are sizes 8 - 14 (about 6 - 12 “street size”) in order to accommodate a range of women. If your sizing is below or above the range mentioned above, we have creative ways of making sure you can experience the look of your desired dress.

WHAT DOES MADE-TO-ORDER MEAN WHEN ORDERING MY GOWN?

Made-to-order means that there is no stock of your gown and the making of the gown begins once you place your order. The most important thing to note is that made-to-order gowns are ordered to the closest numerical dress size, based on measurements taken during your appointment. The gown is not made to exact measurements (which is referred to as "made-to-measure"). In order to achieve the perfect fit, the bride must seek the assistance of a seamstress or tailor.

IS THE SALON DOG-FRIENDLY?

We adore pups in a major way, but we've unfortunately learned the hard way that white dresses and pups are not a great mix, the answer is an unfortunate no.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO MY APPOINTMENT?

We find it can be helpful to wear nude undergarments. If you plan on wearing Spanx on your big day, feel free to bring a pair to get a sense of it.

HOW MUCH DO ALTERATIONS TYPICALLY COST?

Many of our gowns are quite simple to alter, but depending on the complexity of your alteration needs, costs may range from $250-500 on average. For any major customizations, costs can go upwards of $700-900.

WHAT IS A TRUNK SHOW?

A trunk show is a limited period of time for brides to view additional styles from a particular designer outside of what JLB has previously curated in store. In some cases, there is special pricing available during the show. These trunk shows are by appointment only and have limited times to view, so please book your appointment as soon as you know you want to be part of this experience.
